SOME OF OUR PARTNERS
Changing streets. Changing lives. Building communities
We are proud to develop and change spaces to suit the needs of our tenants and the community
We are passionate about all aspects of city life, and by constantly introducing new initiatives we reignite consumer interest in inner-city areas. Our revitalisation projects boost social cohesion and attract people from all walks of life to share living and working spaces. By re-establishing the CBDs of Gauteng, our cities are becoming increasingly viable and desirable locations for business, housing and leisure.
We are an accredited associate of Octodec Investments Limited, and a trusted partner to numerous private clients, with over 50 years’ experience in the property industry. We are proud of our inner-city know-how, administrative expertise and scalable property management proficiency. Through our extensive property insight and expertise, we have a track record of unlocking value in redevelopments and refurbishments, through world-class property management.
We value our relationships with stakeholders and focus on long-term value creation that includes sustainable ESG programmes.
Our transformation strategy is aligned with the draft Property Sector Code, and we have appointed a corporate advisory team to assist with the implementation of a formal transformation plan and B-BBEE strategy. We believe that each project completed, and property built, addresses the future of South Africa’s cities and its people.
Building the future of property
We’re reimagining the urban landscape to create spaces for communities to live, work and play.
Focusing on the Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni and Pretoria areas, our retail, office, warehouse and apartment spaces create opportunities for corporates, small businesses and individuals to make the most of our South African cities.
We care about the people who live in and around our properties, and strive to improve their lives by providing dynamic spaces for them to thrive.
By combining our experience in property management and asset management with skilful and passionate staff, we are shaping the future of property.
As a leading property company, our success lies not only in the onsite management and maintenance teams that care for our properties and its tenants, but also our administration staff. They include friendly call-centre operators, customer care professionals, leasing and building experts, contractors and other support staff.
With live-in building managers at most of our properties, our team on the ground are there to assist tenants with maintenance and other general matters. We also handle strategic management, supervision and implementation relating to acquisitions and disposals, as well as upgrades and renovations.
With over 600 diverse properties, 12 000 flats and 1 million square meters of commercial space to manage, we strive to meet the needs of our tenants and build long-lasting relationships.
Investing in the city
We operate in an urban environment where new developments are not just a design exercise. The challenge is always to incorporate the old with the new in order to give older properties and areas a new life.
We are continuously upgrading our existing buildings and adding value for our tenants. We create long-term value by adopting a sustainability mindset.
Our investments in the city ensure that properties are not only well maintained, but continue to offer modern and upmarket solutions in a rapidly evolving property market.
African Children’s Feeding Scheme
For the last four years we’ve started the new year with a stationery drive. We also support this NGO with a financial contribution.
Dignity Dreams NGO
We’ve partnered with this NGO who manufactures reusable sanitary packs to young women by providing a rent-free premises for them to work from.
The annual initiative will again brighten up children’s faces. We provided them with a personalised message, a box filled with stationery, toys, clothing, personal hygiene items and a treat or two.
Women & Men Against Child Abuse
Our cycle team ride in the Telkom 94.7 Cycle Challenge to raise funds. Staff who participate in the 702 Discovery Walk-the-Talk also use this platform to “protest” for the rights of children for WAMACA.
Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa
To improve the survival rate, more children and teens need to be diagnosed early. We support CHOC with funding, and also drive an awareness campaign to alert staff and tenants about the importance of early detection.
